I am a self-professed urban bumpkin, having never resided outside of New York City, unless you count four years of a failed experiment in suburban living, as well as four years of college in Massachusetts. I am a Korean-American native New Yorker, a true “island girl,” born in Manhattan. I wear multiple hats, as most women do: I’m an illustrator, educator and parent.
